About Us
Orazem & Scalora Engineering, P.A. was founded by Tom Orazem and Jim Scalora in 1989 to provide consulting services in the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering disciplines. The firm’s design services include HVAC, electrical power, plumbing, telecommunications, security, audiovisual, lighting and control, LEED®/sustainable design, and mission-critical design.
OUR PRINCIPALS
Tom is an original founder of OSE and contributes over 40 years of experience of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design knowledge to the team. Tom has managed multiple landmark projects throughout the Midwest since founding OSE.
Tom Orazem
David started as an intern with OSE and now has over 20 years of design experience. He became a Principal at OSE in 2015. David has directed the design of the Kansas State College of Business Administration, the Flint Hills Discovery Center, and Saint Isidore’s Catholic Church.
David Griffith
Gerit started with OSE in 2005 and has worked as project manager for multiple school and commercial projects across the Midwest, including the Tallgrass Taphouse, USD 364 Marysville Public School Bond, and the Manhattan Public Library Children’s Library Addition. Gerit became a Principal in 2018.
Gerit Garman
Brad joined the team at OSE in 2010 and has since worked on numerous projects throughout the region. Recent successful projects include the USD 320 Wamego Public School Bond, multiple projects for the Manhattan Area Technical College, and the new Joint Fleet Maintenance Facility for the City of Manhattan. Brad became a Principal in 2018.
