Principal

Brad Ross is a Principal Engineer at Orazem & Scalora Engineering (OSE), where he has made significant contributions since joining the company in 2010. He graduated from the Architectural Engineering program at Kansas State University in 2008 and holds professional engineering registrations in Kansas, Nebraska, and Colorado.

Throughout his tenure at OSE, Brad has successfully undertaken and overseen numerous prestigious projects throughout Kansas. He has played a pivotal role in various ventures for Manhattan Area Technical College across both their Manhattan and Wamego campuses. Additionally, Brad has been instrumental in multiple projects at Kansas State University, notably the Berney Family Welcome Center and the College of Business Administration. His involvement extends to the 2015 USD 320 Wamego Bond projects and numerous commercial and industrial initiatives.

During his college years, while many students pursued internships at engineering firms, Brad wisely opted to work on construction sites during summers. This hands-on experience allowed him to gain valuable knowledge in diverse areas, such as pipe-fitting, building ductwork, and electrical installation. Understanding the intricacies of these systems has proven indispensable in his current role, providing him with a comprehensive perspective on system integration.

Born and raised in Kansas, Brad has resided in different regions of the state. He is happily married with one daughter and currently resides with his family in Wamego. His wife’s teaching profession in the USD 320 Wamego School District establishes his close ties to the school projects undertaken by OSE. Brad dedicates his available time to serve his community through various volunteering commitments and board memberships. Notable contributions include his involvement with the Wamego Public Library Board, the Leadership Manhattan Board, coaching the Wamego Track Club, and participating in numerous events in the Wamego and Manhattan areas. In his leisure time, Brad cherishes moments spent traveling with his family and engaging in outdoor activities such as hiking, hunting, fishing, and more.
